4th Ágens International Photo Competition
The Ágens advertised the 4th Ágens International Photo Competiton
Conditions of participation: this is an open competition, anyone can participate, irrespective of profession, age or place of residence. Each author can submit 4 colour and 4 monochrome paper photos. The maximum size of the photos shall be 30×40 cm. The photos should be submitted without frame and passe-partout, as we shall be in charge of the final identical presentation format. Serial photos shall not be accepted. The author’s name, postal address, the title of the photo in Hungarian and English languages, as well as the series no. of the photo should be clearly indicated on the verso of each photo. The photos can be made by traditional or digital process alike, but the final photo shall only be accepted by the organizers on light sensitive photo paper support. Photos not respecting the indicated size and technology shall be refused by the organizers and they shall not be returned, non-acceptance of the conditions of participation shall by itself exclude candidates from participating in the competition, and no photos shall be returned.

Participation fee: HUF 2000, or EUR 10 (in Europe), USD 15 (outside Europe) in a single category,
HUF 3000, or EUR 15 (in Europe), USD 25 (outside Europe) in the two categories.
November 30, 2009.: final deadline for receiving the photos and for settling the participation fee
December 12-13, 2009.: evaluation by the jury
December 23, 2009.: information of the authors whose art works shall be exhibited

January 16, 2010., at 11h a.m. opening of the exhibition
March 16, 2010. returning the photos
