Hueman Photography Contest
The Hueman photography contest seeks to gather photography from around the globe that captures the human life, experience and environment in a creative and compassionate manner.
The Hueman initiative is a project of the Dawn Breakers International Film Festival, a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and showcasing films with a “world-embracing” vision. The goals of the Hueman photography project are the same with that of the film festival and only differ in the medium of expression.
The finalists, chosen from among all the entrants at the end of the contest, will go on to be published and showcased in various venues explained further here.
Exhibition
The chosen finalists work will be showcased in the following manner.
Festival Exhibition
All Hueman finalist’s photographic works will be presented during the Dawn Breakers Int’l Film Festival in a gallery-like setting. The film festival attracts a diverse group of people who flood in to be inspired and enlightened by the selection of films presented to them in various cities across the world. So far, United Sates and Europe.
The Hueman initiative aims to present the art of photography as a complimentary yet stand-alone medium to film.
Photobook/Magazine
All finalist work will be published in a one-volume photobook (print) or a magazine (online) to be published regularly.
Digital Distribution
Selected photographs will presented online in the “photo of the week” section of this website. Furthermore, a digital photobook may also be released along with a printed format.

Dawn Breakers film festival is a wonderful and reputable film festival and I am excited to enter in their photography contest with a few pics that I think meet the quality standarts. I think the Hueman project will give all the finalist a good place to showcase their work straight to an audience who want to see their work. My only question, when will the finalists be announced?
