Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2011
This year’s Professional Photographer of the Year awards are only open to digital submissions but to all photographers, worldwide. Please ensure you understand the terms and conditions below before entering.
You can enter as many categories as you wish, but only one image per category apart from the Portfolio category. Each category will be judged and a winner will be chosen from each and put forward to a final judging from which the overall winner will be chosen. Category winners and the overall winner may be required to provide Professional Photographer with a high res version of the submitted image.
This really is our most exciting, prestigious and easy to enter Professional Photographer awards ever. So don’t waste any time, get shooting, get editing and get uploading.
Eligibility: Participation in the Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2011 is open to all photographers over the age of 18
Entry: Free Entry
We have 13 categories for photographers to enter and the titles are generic to encourage as many as possible to take part. There will be a winner and runner-up in each category, plus Best Portfolio winner and the Professional Photographer of the Year title. You may enter as many categories as you like but are limited to one image in each, with the exception of the Portfolio Award.
Prizes: We would like to think that becoming Professional Photographer of the Year 2011, or a category or Portfolio winner, are strong enough reasons for entering. Yes, there will be an exclusive winners’ party with sponsors and judges, plus magazine staff, but we also feel that you need to get something a bit extra. So, each winner will receive an exclusive logo to promote themselves to the industry and to their clients, which can then be used to help market themselves through websites, stationery and business cards, as a mark of distinction and a sign of quality. In addition, there will be a section created on the PP website profiling the PPOTY winners, using this logo as a reference point, so potential clients can visit and discover their award winning photographer.
Copyright: With respect to any materials you submit in connection with the Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2011, you represent and warrant as follows:That you, or the person from whom you have permission to submit the Submitted Materials, own(s) the copyright and other relevant rights to the submitted materials, that you will not license or assign such copyright during the course of the competition, that you have full power and authority to grant the licenses and authorisations granted herein, and that submission of the Submitted Materials and their use and display will not be contrary to any law or any contract or agreement with any third-party.
