The International Teen Fashion Photo Competition
This competition is open to amateur and professional photographers of all nationalities and is designed to identify and nurture talented photographers and to encourage them to follow their dreams and fulfil their talent and potential. The ITFPC is also aimed at young professional photographers at the beginning of their careers and recognizes outstanding talents.
The participants will be invited to submit 4 photos per city, each taken in a different setting. A committee of distinguished professionals will select the winners based on one of these 4 photos.
4 photos at 4 different settings
1. secondary or high schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, middle schools, colleges in the wealthy upper and middle class suburban and urban areas
2. the teen hangouts – the entertainment district street corners, arcades, parking lots and malls
3. secondary or high schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, middle schools, colleges – in the poor urban areas and the slums -
4. Special Areas -Rural areas, local health clubs, etc

1st PRIZE
1. $10,000 (U.S.) in cash
2. latest model, high quality, professional, digital camera
3. Invitation to officially open the exhibition of winning photographs: “Young in 60 Cities” organized in cooperation with the JakArt@2009 international Arts, Cultural and Educational Festival, Jakarta, Indonesia. This official invitation includes: (1) airfare to Jakarta and a 6 night stay at a 4 star Hotel. Value approx. $3,000. (U.S.) (Some restrictions apply.)

This competition is only for images shot within the period April 1 – October 1, 2009. Your photos must have been taken with a digital camera.
Entries must be submitted by an individual (not via any agency or similar).
Photographs must be high resolution original files of camera-made digital photos in JPG or TIFF formats. The size should be at least 1819 x 2598 pixels [154 x 220mm horizontal] at 300 dpi resolution, with a maximum file size of 10 MB.
